I love the sea. I also love to fish.

I am 21 years old and reside in a home for abandoned boys on Curaçao, a small island in the Caribbean. It is my dream to have an ocean fishing kayak so I can catch fish, live as a fisherman and continue to teach people how to fish - literally and figuratively.

When I am not at school or at work, I support my friends at our home for abandoned boys to move forward in life. Many come from problematic backgrounds and are inclined to get into trouble. I want to help them to move forward in a healthy way that is beneficial for themselves and for society. I believe that no matter where we come from, it's possible to move forward in a positive and constructive way, so we can practically contribute to society.
